Hand-drawn portraits of meaningful places
I create hand-drawn illustrations of places that matter to people: homes, gardens, streets, summer houses and quiet corners of cities
Do you have a place you would like to keep close?
I would be happy to draw it for you

About the artwork:
Some places are just trees. Some become part of a town’s history. This old linden tree grows on the grounds of the steel factory in Frederiksværk and has quietly witnessed generations of industrial life around it.
Historic map of Halsnæs Commune
Artwork Size: 42.0×59.4 cm
Medium: Ink on Paper
About the artwork:
Inspired by J.F. Classen’s 1763 plan for Frederiksværk, this drawing explores the meeting point between an ideal vision and the way a town slowly grows through real life.
I transformed the original flat industrial scheme into a hand-drawn volumetric map, imagining how history, nature and everyday life gradually reshaped the planned city.

Houses That May Soon Be Gone (Serbia)
Artwork Size: 15.0 x 21.0 cm
Medium: Watercolour
About the artwork:
This watercolor series was inspired by the traditional houses in Serbia. Many of these houses are slowly disappearing, replaced by newer buildings or left abandoned.
Through these paintings, I wanted to preserve a sense of their character and the atmosphere of a landscape that is gradually changing.
